Due to recent federal legislation (the One Big Beautiful Bill Act), the federal EV tax credit is ending much sooner than expected.

EV Tax Credit FAQ
Why is the EV Tax Credit Ending?
The federal EV tax credit was modified and extended by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). However, the recently passed One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB) has accelerated the sunset of this program. The credit will no longer be available for vehicles purchased after September 30, 2025, making the next few months your last chance to take advantage of this substantial federal incentive on a new GMC Sierra EV.
