Buick Infotainment: Google Built-in Guide
?? At a glance – Buick Google system
Google built-in comes on most new Buicks (LT and above). You get Google Maps, Assistant, and Play right on the dash – no phone required. Setup takes about 10 minutes: sign into your Google and GM accounts, sync contacts, and you’re live. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also included. Over-the-air updates keep it fresh. Test it at Elk Grove Buick GMC.
Before you start
You’ll need two things: your GM account (the email you used at purchase, same as myBuick app) and a Google Account (Gmail works). If you don’t have a Google Account, create one on your phone – takes two minutes. Keep your phone nearby; you’ll use it to sync contacts and verify.
Difficulty: intermediate • Time: ~10 minutes • No tools needed.
Setup wizard – first time
When you start the vehicle, the infotainment screen launches a Setup Wizard. It walks you through signing into Google, pairing Bluetooth, and enabling services. You can skip steps, but you’ll get reminders. Vehicle must be in PARK – if you drive off, the wizard pauses and returns next time.
